We all have embarrassing fears. Things we can’t stand to be afraid of. For some of us it’s spiders and heights, which if you ask me, is very normal. But I can’t get to a place where I’m not extremely humiliated to admit what I’m afraid of.

I get angry. When people take it as a joke I completely lose it.

Why?

Because it’s too much to feel all at once. I’m scared, embarrassed, overwhelmed.

What’s humorous about that?

So today I had to come to terms with the fact that my fears are my job to get under control. I can’t let them control my mood or ruin my day.

If I could have it my way I’d be a mom of two. One girl and one boy. Let’s face it, there’s nothing more perfect than a family of four.

I often wonder if I’m fit to be a mom. Am I energetic enough? Patient enough. Compassionate.

I think the answer is yes. But, I live a slow life. What if I end up a “three hour mom”?

Or worse.

A mean one.

We all know a mean mom who’s just scary to be around.

I think a mom should carry strength along with patience. Intelligence along with compassion.

We don’t need anymore scarred children.
